Nico Dery (Sequoia Oro) founded Art Vending North Adams, as a way to showcase Northern Berkshire Artists by exhibiting and selling their work through the fun and approachable platform of a vending machine. The project was selected in 2020 by the  North Adams Artist Impact Coalition  (AIC) as an initiative  to bring new resources to artists working and residing in the Northern Berkshires. It was funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, and came into being with the support of an amazing creative community. The project has been featured in the New York Times, and continues to be generously supported by MASS MoCA.
